Among the massive amount of info on how to maintain your pond/lake at optimal conditions, along with the balance of species to enable the best possible prized fishes yielding, I come to throw a small wrench into the midst of it all.

Just something extra to arm yourselves with. I've been working with agencies in monitoring for effects of cyanobacterial algal blooms, which can result in devastating outcome if not monitored and being proactive/reactive to.

If I understand that Algae it appears like liquid green. If so this is the first year I have seen this in my pond. It appeared in the early summer and now it is back. I've always had some algae but not that liquid stuff. It's like having a Bio Disaster. ugh

It's more than a bio-disaster. It's an ever lasting disaster that tend not to go away once it's there.

Always have been around. So busy on taking care of work and kids' sport activities that I barely have time to sleep, alone responding intellectually here.
