For those who find them selves always messing around with fish, moving them or holding them, this might be an idea

I ran across some one getting rid of an old well water aeration tank and converted it. Pretty simple. Here it is

It shows up on my phone and home computer but not my work computer, the system blocks certain stuff. Maybe that's your issue?

hope the idea helps some folks, I think it will work great for me.

I often carry fish to supplement the forage base with shiners and mullet. I think this will help me hold and carry fish better then the Rubbermaid storage bins I have been using.

I read this and got stuck on what a 'well aerator' is. In the south do they need a bubbler in their wells to keep the water from going stagnant and overheating or something? Our wells up here in the north don't have bubblers on them. Or was this in a cistern or holding tank that is in between the well and the house?

Your design is great, I just don't think up here in Michigan we would be able to find a device like yours to start out with

artesian wells have a very strong rotten egg smell in the water and your entire house will smell like rotten eggs every time you run the water. The water goes from the well into these big tanks via a mister or spry. The top has breathing holes covered with screens. This lets the gases out of the water and eliminate the smell. The water is pumped to the house from the aeration tank and has no more stink.

we have artesian wells here too but I never knew they stunk!

yours might not as it might be confined by granite or some other sold type rock. , ours (Floridian Aquifer) runs though lime rock and gathers lots of sulfur gas which is the source of the smell.
