I have developed a surface scum on my pond that appears to be blue/green algae. Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, stan

So I have blue/green specks floating in water and told it was blue/green algae but no scum. How to treat? Tried the two bales of hay idea and it didn't work except my turtles had more to sun on. Is this seasonal? Water no longer clear. Help
