Some of you may recognize my user name from other forums and this one was recommended to me by another member who's opinions I respect regarding bass fishing.

I make many of the soft plastics I use as well as skirted jigs, spinnerbaits and top water lures. Lure design intrigues me and I've discovered new designs that have done well for many fish species.

I do not subscribe to match the hatch or any idea that a lure represents a prey species to a predator and love picking apart the idea with discussions that invite comments. Arguing with those that attack my ideas is not why I post. Sharing ideas and discoveries on the water with fellow anglers is a great pleasure and past time other than fishing.

I'm retired and have more time than most to invest in experimentation on a dozen local waters - some ponds, some deep water lakes. I constructed a pond on my property that is 7'or so deep depending on rainfall and have gotten permits to stock different fish species. It's nice to be able to cast a lure within 100' of my house and catch fish.

I look forward to joining in and contributing ideas.

Frank

Frank, welcome to the forum. Most everybody here fishes, so new ways or lures to catch fish are always welcome.

I assume you pour senkos, so my vote is for more salt in the 6"+ senkos, and less in the 4".
