I am looking for a low-cost all-weather (freeze resistant) float that I can attach to a water input hose (feeds from an artesian well). I have posted pictures on another active thread. The input hose is 1" poly but could be extended with another hose material for increased flexibility. I can restrict the flow to get a low-pressure "fountain" effect. The fountain floats that I see online cost around $100 and I think something much cheaper might work. Any ideas are appreciated.
