This has started so much earlier this year, and having so many hot, calm days yet ahead of us, I can only imagine what lies ahead in the days and weeks to come.
This photo was taken last night at 6:15 pm
This one taken tonight at 6:15 pm, and I'm already seeing the small clumps of what appears to be the beginning of the same BG algae I had last year.
So the executive decision has been made, it's time to begin the culling phase and reap the benefits of what I've been able to accomplish here. And sorry for the disturbing photo, but you can see 3 AM LMB pellets in this HSB.
As most of you can relate, it nearly killed me cutting into the first of the HSB and LMB that I've raised over the past 4 years
PS - As a side note, there will be a very large fish fry in Sept and you're all invited!
