Looks like I'm going to go with Texas A&M. Does anyone else use their service? I can get a routine analysis for $20. The University of Arkansas wants about $120 for the same test. Through A&M I can also send it myself in a clean water bottle instead of through extension service.
Are there any cheaper services that are good? Hard to beat what A&M is offering.
This is what you get for $20.
(Conductivity, pH, Na, Ca, Mg, K, CO3 2-, HCO3, SO4 2-, Cl-, P, B, Nitrate-N. Hardness, and SAR)
Is this all I would need?
Thanks!

I used TAMU. They told me what I needed to know.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Does anyone have the info for TAMU for the process to get water tested. I need to get this done asap before putting my fish in. Thanks,
1 1/4 acre L shaped pond, 6 to 9 ft deep. Finished 7/7/16. Stocked with LMB, HBG, BG, CNBG, RES, FHM. Can't wait to fish it. GO SAINTS!!!

http://soiltesting.tamu.edu/ Ozarka bottles work for sending the water in. Be sure and rise them thoroughly before using them. I like to sample water from several different areas also. I usually get the Routine Analysis. If you have iron ore, you may want the routine + metals.
