I stocked my pond in February(been feeding since late Feb) and I have yet to see a single RES at the feeder or around the dock where I hand feed. I have CNBG by the hundreds all lineup waiting, so I have a chance to look pretty good. Is this unusual? I stocked 500 RES.
1.8 acre pond with CNBG, RES, HSB, and LMB Trophy Hunter feeder.

Yes that is normal. RES often do not feed at the surface but will eat pellets that sink.

The ONLY time that I see the RES in my pond is when they are spawning. The other 10 months of the year you wouldn't think I had any in the pond.
