I don't think I posted this but meant to a week or so back. This is the highway going to my place North of Cisco. I'm still "exploring" new routes to take. This is behind the dam. Highway 6 will be closed for 6-9 months. Perfect example of why NOT to try and cross even a few inches over the road. People assume there is still a road there! I bet with box culverts they can get that open fairly quick.

Yes, a good reason to not drive in standing water.
We had some bridges wiped out like that about ten or fifteen years back.

Texas has had a lot of that.
