Well we had this extra wood so thought I would make a little something out of it this weekend. The 3 middle cars I carved out a rectangular hole about 4 inches deep for flowers. All done with chainsaw. Were not totally done with all the little touch ups but thought I would share my train with everyone.... I still want to do some painting and link them together with some chains.... ALL ABOARD!!! smile Time for a PondBoss fishing trip!!! smile

Thanks guys I don't know how long it will last being how's is pine and all but thought we would try it... For my first ever train I thought it turned out ok... Next one if I do one I may do it in Cedar where it should last quite a bit longer!!

Hey thanks everyone I had the pines on the ground already so we thought we would give it a try. The nice thing about using pine is it's easy for the chainsaw to cut and make your grooves and notches and such as it's such soft wood. Maybe next year I'll do train version 2.0..... haha
