OP Rowly Member R Joined: Jul 2002 Posts: 257 London, Ontario, Canada	Went to a new small lake and caught a pumpkinseed so colorful it could have been used as a aquarium fish. Question though..... the belly was so orange it was striking with the bright blue markings along its side, the gill spot had the distintive bright red markings. Could this fish be crossed with something else to make it so colorful. Thanks Rowly

I returned the pumpkinseed back to the water but in the future, it could be a start of a great gene poole in my tank. However, I what mostly bluegill as my forage base for the bass. Rowly
