For the past two days, my 1/4 acre oval pond has been almost whitecapping from the wind. How much deep water circulation would I get? It's 10.5 feet deep in middle at present stage. Most of the center part is over 9 feet.

Deep water circulation from the wind action depends on two things: 1. wind speed, 2. water temperature. The warmer the water the more wind it takes to mix the surface water deeper. Also related to wind speed is fetch: the distance the wind travels across the water which usually results in higher waves. In my experience strong wind on a 1/4 ac pond in Jul-Aug mixes the water very close to 6 ft deep.
