In the mailbox today.

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.

Hmph........

I don't have a mailbox (again).

The dang snow plow blew it apart (again). It and the mail was laying in the slush that was up here Monday morning, about 20' away from the post.

Time to install Plan B (again). I put it in the barn when things greened up this Spring. Here is Plan B. (Picture from 2 years ago).

I hate when that happens, but they don't plow our road that often. Usually it's a driver that's trying to negotiate 104th onto North River Dr. that wipes out a few mailboxes. I've pulled them out and had to lift this one car up with the tractor to get it off the post they were stuck on.

This morning going to work, it was just a path down the middle of the road that someone else made. Kinda sucked with oncoming traffic and the slush. That kinda sucks you in if you are not careful.

I think the local post office only delivers a few days a week up here now. Go into one and they are only open from 11:00am to noon, then from about 1:00pm to 3:00pm or so. I went to go mail something during the day last week and they were closed. Gotta go to the city to get it out, then, Priority Mail, that use to have specific performance but it's an "it all depends now".

I got mine yesterday also. This issue might be my first of my 2nd year subscription, and I think it is my favorite to date. Lots of good stuff to know.

Not here yet either.

Got a call from the Doctors office saying that a bill was returned "undeliverable", so they wanted to verify my address and it was all correct, even on the envelope, so why was it returned???

Never got my winter property tax bill either so I called them up. Yep, it was mailed out December 1st and returned as "undeliverable". The township clerk was looking into this new problem, because he has a stack of these this year.

He said it is a problem with new equipment at the central post office in GR. If the machine can not accurately read the zip code, 1st class mail get's returned to sender, all others go in the dumpster.

Tracy, when I read Bob Lusk's comment about the best opportunity to grow a state record bass, I thought about your endeavor.

Frank, thanks for that, but I am learning it might not be as easy as I once thought. As I have set goals in my life I have most always achieved them and so with this goal I also hope to GITTER DONE. smile But , man there are a lot of things that come into play, not to mention what Mother Nature might throw out there.

John, they are all mailed on the same day. However, the post office has their own way of doing things. I have a rent house about 15 miles from me. Sometimes, according to the post mark date, it takes 10 to 12 days for me to get the check. I could crawl there and back in that time.

If it doesn't come in, after 3 or 4 more days, call the PB office.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

That was the excuse I got from a company next door that was always late paying their bills. Just told him next time your payment is due, I'll walk the 100 yards and save you postage. Worked for a bit.

I worked for a company that has a postage meter. They'd run the sealed envelope thru the machine to get the date on it, then throw it back in the desk drawer for 2-3 weeks. It stopped for a short time when the postman started looking at the date when he picked up the mail, then they just took them to the post office and shoved them thru the slot in the mailbox there to go out.
