Don't ask, me.

I invested in oil last year "knowing" full well (based on previous successes) that oil always goes down after the summer season and then back up by the next spring.

Unleaded gas is a dime less a gallon than E85 today at 1.89.

Guess I should go somewhere.......

Unleaded was $1.48 last week.

One of the new drill pipe mills they were building in KY, up to 48" dia pipe went bankrupt earlier this year. All assets sold for peanuts. We only lost about $5K on that one.

Another new pipe mill going up in Colorado just stopped in their tracks and put everything on hold until gas prices are consistently ~$3.00/gal for reg. They do plan on finishing the plant, but who knows when that will be.

Kinda nice to fill my truck up for ~$50.00.

I'm expanding my chinchilla ranch in New Mexico...looking for some capital investment. Ping me, Dwight.

TJ - Where do I send my login and password to my bank accounts? I'm In! wink

Actually, this is the only puter that can access these accounts. They sniff them up pretty good!

When I recently got it, I had to go around to a few customers with Logix Systems, connect with USB cable between LT and Processor, while having an exact program match (I wrote the program's) on the puter to what's in the processor. Sniffs ya up a tad, blinky LED's are telling the story, and if they all go green, good to go and can get online thru Ethernet. There is a particular nasty Red LED, and if you get that... well, you don't want to get that!!!

I do like this security tho.

A month or so ago, my youngest son came home from school and said he wanted a chinchilla for a pet, I gave the politically correct answer, "ask yer mom." He circled back around in a few minutes and told me she said ok. I was shocked cause she had said NO MORE PETS! She made enchiladas for dinner. Seems to be, to a Thai girl, chinchilla, enchilada...it's all Mexican food right! grin

So TJ, my wife says we are in on the Mexican restaurant investment but she thinks you should open it in Bangkok! grin

Edit: When my youngest found out the confusion, he laughed his butt off, so did my wife. No more talk of a chinchilla for a pet!

Considering how much demand & prices for the meat have increased, I think an alligator farm would make more sense. And, if the chinchilla thing didn't work out, you could always use it to feed the gators...

Bill, that's classic.

We have some of that type of issues around here. I'm "hearing challenged" and hate to wear my hearing aids unless I go out in public. I do lots of strange things HOPING to please my Wife.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Back in college, one of my pledge brother's room mate got a pet chinchilla. No idea why.

Some weeks later, someone scooped up the chinchilla with a lacrosse stick and sent it out the third floor window, never to be seen again.

Good times....

Oh I wish fuel was as cheap as you guys can get it. We are at .89 cents per liter. With four liters in a US gallon we are at $3.56 per gallon and that to us is great! Summer we saw $1.20 per liter or $4.80 per gallon.

The time to buy is when things are low. When the Dow dropped to 9000 we bought in like crazy. I mean really where is all the people and company's in the US going to go? How could it ever go to ZERO? It was a great investment with the Dow at 17,000 now.

Cheers Don.

If crude gets below $30 per barrel I will probably go all in on an oil ETF.

It took 14 yr's for the oil industry (due to pricing) to come back from a bust like this one. Dono, sounds like fuel taxes are really high there.
