If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

No, but we both got the vaccinations.

Parents got their flu shots too and they are the ones that gave it to me!

Hope you feel better Buddy! Saltines first then Campbell's Chicken Noodle soup, the cheap one, when ya feel a little better. Don't know why, but some black pepper on the soup always works for me.

Thanks Bill but I haven't tossed my cookies yet (although I'm right on the edge) and I'm afraid if I eat anything at all it will happen! That's what happened to my parents.

I was thinking about getting a flue shot this year, but I only get the 24 hour bug and it's usually due to something old I ate from the fridge. I do get minor colds from time to time, but nothing too serious. If Sparks kid's wallowed in the stuff I did as a kid and thru my life, their doc would give them an A+++. Went to a gas station today and you have to give them your birth date even to buy a BIC lighter Some are requiring an Id as well. Anyway, this kid said I was an old geezer, SIR! I replied and said I'm only 55 and won't be a geezer for at least another 30 years or so, then it's questionable at that point. He said sorry and my BIC lighter purchase cleared I talked to the gal that owns this place this morning and the State and Feds are requiring this type of info. She say's it's crazy, but she can't make a sale without the info. The cash registers won't work at all. They also have to input the info for lottery ticket buyers. Trust me, I don't look 21 anymore Maybe 25

When young gals at the checkout ask me for ID when I'm buying Pat W beer (he says he's still underage), I say thank you and ask them what time they get off work. For some reason my wife doesn't see the humor when I do that!

Never had the flu or the shot.

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1) And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1) Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT? PB answer: It depends.

Here is our favorite chicken soup recipe for colds. It is from Emeril L. All the red pepper, Cajun seasoning and garlic will sure chase something away. Dr. E's Get Well Chicken Soup I've gotten a flu shot every year since at least 1968. So far, so good.

Bill, I like the "what time do you get off work?". My wife would euthanize me if I did that.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I find it amazing the things I can say as I get older that would have caused alarm in my younger days. I guess us old coots aren't much of a threat.

The flu shot protects against influenza -- the one that gives you high fevers, fatigue and muscle aches and a dry cough. It can be deadly for the elderly or those with bad immune systems.
The "stomach flu" with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea is a different kind of virus, and there's no vaccine for it.
Feel better soon, Cecil!

Back to normal today. Really hungry now. Was going to treat myself to a Big Mac but my checking account is too low. Seems a subtantial deposit I made on Friday at the bank is not there even though have a receipt for it! I can see if it takes the next business day but there is no record of it at all!
&@&$;:/-!
This may be the last straw for this bank!

My deposit showed up three days later after my account goes negative overnight on Sunday. Fortunately it looks like they are not charging me a "courtesy fee" of $35.00.
Maybe my terse email had something to do with it?
Time to switch banks. My blood presure can't take this!

Yes, there are decent banks. I won't put up with explanations from banks on why they messed me up. Been there done that.
Going sustainable.. how's that working for ya?

TJ, Happy birthday from Jodi and me. She recently asked about the ice-fishing trip we discussed at the PB conference...

Never had the flu or the shot. Not surprising, this simply confirms my suspicions you are of [at least partial] alien origin.
