I caught this fish about 30 minutes ago. Second cast. lol 10/9/15 - 1:00 pm. It's coming along nicely. I'm pretty sure there are some larger than this. I don't even think this is a mature fish. But the helmet has formed. I wondering how much bigger they can get. Look at the size of prey she was going after. She? They sure are pretty.

How old is that fish? Did you weigh or measure? It is beautiful specimen.How big is your pond and what are you feeding them?

How old is that fish? Did you weigh or measure? It is beautiful specimen.How big is your pond and what are you feeding them? The fish was put in my pond at about 2 inches May 17, 2014 so it's about a year and a half old. This is my pond from one side.  Open water of my pond  I don't know how big it is. Over an acre. By how much I couldn't tell you. I feed them Lone star catfish fingerling 36%
