Has anyone come accross any of these fish? Sounds like a huge problem on the way... literally. Asian Carp Story

Expect to see a piece on exotic carp in an upcoming issue. Any organism that can tie up that much space in a small system is a source of concern.

I saw some video on the news about these carp. There were some guys in a shock boat in the Mississippi River somewhere up in Northern Minnesota. These 3-foot long carp would jump 6-8 ft out of the water, jump in boat, and slam into the people on the boat. Very interesting. On the front platform two guys with dip nets where trying to catch the carp in mid-jump. Made me think about what a few good ole boys used to shooting quail might do on those platforms with a case of shells.
