Well, I finally caught a few channel cat out of the b-inlaws tank and transplanted them into mine.I put twelve in there and have been feeding them everyday since, problem is I only have 2 that come up to eat..I'm thinking that the others must have died off or arent smart enough to come to a free meal! Anyhow, I'm really enjoying the pond and my daughter is thouroughly enjoying swimming in it.Can I keep trying to stock this pond (and feed them) and be able to use it for recreation without having a negative effect on the fish? The 2 that I do see dont seem to have a problem with it, but I'm completly new to having pet fish! I dont plan on them staying pets when their big enough to eat, but pets they are at the moment! Thanks..

there is no problem swimming and it affecting you fish - we do it all of the time. Also it takes awhile for all your fish to find the pellets - give it some time and they will find the food
