Is there any way to get rid of the sludge that is in a pond. My pond (approx one acre) is surrounded by trees and each fall there are thousands of leaves fall into the pond. In parts where I can almost stand up I feel that there is about 8 inches of sludge (mud and decayingleaves I guess) I assume that this is what is making my pond a dirty brown color. Visability is not more that 15 inches. PH is 7.2 (measured only with a swimming pool set.
