I own a pond. My son and I would like to build a great rope swing into it. Unfortunately none of the trees are perfect. They are either not tall enough or they dont hang far enough over the water. So, we had this idea. Maybe we could strap a rope or a chain from one tree to another, then attach a rope swing to the center of that chain. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this being done or thinks it may be possible?

Im not sure if it would work or not but you could always go with a zip line one of my personal favorites we use to make them at our local creek all the time.
