Just got online to order myself a feeder. They want $200+ to ship it to VA. Any thoughts?

I don't have any thoughts on shipping, but as for TH feeders they have the best customer service I have ever seen for ANY product/company I have had dealings with!

If you want a dependable feeder that you don't have to worry about, or if 1 feeder is all you would ever need, I would just pay the extra money and be happy.

If you can't stand the shipping I would rig up my own feeder from deer feeder parts or a different brand of fish feeder. But if I did that I would have to wonder to myself if my feeder is feeding my fish because I haven't looked at it in 2 weeks and I don't have confidence in it working properly.

I have been on both sides of that, and well... I now own 4 TH feeders. But that's just what works for me!

Oh Did you ask them if they have any dealers closer to you?

That is way too much for shipping.
Do you have a way to have it shipped to a business?
I don't know how they are planning to ship it, but on a truck line you could ship that thing from New York to California for $100.
