When reading about ponds carrying capacity I get confused with acre foot and just acre surface area.
The average Joe's pond should be safe with 400 pound per acre of live fish. Is that per acre foot of a pond or just surface area?
With all the variables left aside and the number 400 staying the same.

Generally the 400 lb/ac of fish is for surface acre including depth and habitat.
