From one of the weather prognosticators.......... Severe risk across North Texas today plus lots of rain mainly starting tomorrow and lasting well into next week, perhaps all the way into next weekend due to a frontal boundary stalled across the area. Flash Flood Watches likely as models pinging in on some very heavy amounts of rain.  I may have issues with my pond spillway at the farm.......

I have no place to put more water but I'm still saying to bring it on.

I sure wish I had my IBC totes ready to go. Plan on getting 10-15 of them for backup irrigation supply. Could probably easily fill them all by next weekend.

Lake Fork all by itself is holding 70,094,460,312 more gallons of water now than it did at the first of the year (approximately). Yep. IIRC, it hit full pool yesterday, and is over right now. It's been a while since that happened.

River gauge near our farm showed 8" of rain from Tuesday-Sunday with about 6" of that coming Friday-Saturday.
Crazy amount of water here right now in DFW. 10-20k acre lakes are coming up 2-3' in a day.

Glad to hear it for everyone. We have been at full pool since February and ponds I have not seen water in for years are full. God bless texas.

Here's a pic of my big pond on 5-2-15  Here it is on 5-10-15. Zoom in and look at the water under the dock. 
It's true hard work never killed anybody, but I figure, why take the chance?

It is looking good this year so far. I started to do some seeding a few weeks ago but now I'm glad i didn't. We have another storm right over the place now and it's not moving much so let it rain!!
It's true hard work never killed anybody, but I figure, why take the chance?
