So i am leaning towards a pure genetic Northern Bass because of the higher catch rate. With kids and guests I would prefer for everyone to catch fish rather than getting the one trophy bass. If I want really large fighting fish then I can go snagging in Arkansas or down to the coast. If the genetics are diluted some does it make that big a difference in catch rate? I dont put just a huge amount of stock in our local fisheries to have pure genetics. And comparing florida and northern, do they have the same maintenance requirements from year to year.

And how much lmb for a 3 acre lake that has had minnows and RED and Bluegill in for 6 months?

Thanks

To make them easier for kids to catch, it might be more about having an over abundance of LMB. Like having a pond set-up for trophy BG where its bass heavy and stunting the LMB.

Another thing might be to keep the bass when caught, and then ladder stock every year what you take out. This might replace bass that would get hook shy.

Just some thoughts... hopefully the pros who can really give you good advice will be along.

Any thoughts on Spotted Bass and/or Hybrid Striped Bass in addition to LMB?

Consider mixing both Northern and Florida or F1 bass.

Or ultimately if that body of water has no bass in it, then only add Camelot Bell Bass. And this is what I would do if that BOW has no bass currently.
