Hey guys! Brand new here, my name is Joe. Having my first pond I have ever owned being dug this week very excited! I grew up fishing my grandpa`s pond but never owned or managed my own. I live in NE Florida just north of Jacksonville. Hope to turn my new pond into my own private trophy bass lake. It is just over a acre, deepest part will be 20ft to allow spring water to keep it full with the average bottom being around 12-14ft. Most of the soil is grey sand and hard pan closer to the bottom. I cant wait to talk with some of yall and getting ideas and getting off on the right foot to my dream pond!

If you want to attach .jpg files, click on the "switch to full screen reply screen" and then click "file manager." You can then browse your computer and attach pics. You are limited to 2M per post so you may want to reduce the size of some pics if you are posting a lot together.
There is also a method to imbed photo links right into yer posts, I dun use that way so I will leave it to someone more informed to explain the procedure.
