I am having trouble getting on the Mississippi fish forum (wrong name) and I was wondering if it is just me or is the forum down?

I tried using your web site address and it still will not come up. It seems to take to long then I get a page that is blank.

I dont know,Deaner, I just clicked on it 2 times and it came up completely in about 2 seconds.
You may check with them on required download speed. Do you have DSL or cable service?
If you have DSL, you may check your speed. Maybe lines are still damaged.

I am on beroadband-satelite dish.It worked good until the hurricane and it got moved but we had it reset, has not worked since.

Go to your satellite pointing menu and read the transponder signal levels. Most people they send out to'reset' it are clueless. They need to go to the dish, hook up a laptop and maximise the signal.

I went thru on computer settings and they seem alright. We watched as they had the computer on the dish and the computer in the house showed it was set to the best setting.

We installed windows XP and now many of my problems have disappeared. I can get on the Mississippi forum at the present.
