Anybody on here have any experience with a pond/lake builder in Alabama? I'm aware of southeast pond management, just wasn't aware if there was anybody else someone might recommend. I'm probably about 2 yrs from starting, just wanted to start planning now.

Mike Otto, one of the owners here, has written a book about dams and soils. Buying it could be the best investment you could make. Call the PB office if interested.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

If you could get Michael Grey on your project, you'd be a lucky man. He's a top notch professional and also a great person. Definitely follow up with his post here and see if you can swing it.

Please keep us apprised and tuned into your project if you are so willing. I'd like to witness impetus to concept to fulfillment through both your minds with photos, etc. Valuable process for the forum to witness.
