Have a 4 acre pond with BG, RES, YP, CC, LMB, HSB, & WE. Installed a Texas Hunter feeder this past year & fed Aquamax sportfish. Already have an aerator with 3 diffusors installed, so DO shouldn't be an issue. We did have quite a bit of algae this past year, & am thinking about doing some algae chemical treatment this year to try and control it. Being in Iowa, our ponds are usually well fertilized due to eventual fertilizer runoff from crop fields. My question pertains to how many feeders should I have on a pond my size? What other variables should be considered?
