Interesting article. I thought they were very tolerant to low DO levels. Which makes them good for shallow ponds right?

YP succeeding long term of 5-6yrs in shallow ponds will be impacted by the source of the YP, maximum water temperatures and the water quality in the pond. Older and larger YP seem to get increasingly stressed as water temps go above 82F toward 92F.
