We just began installing floating islands in North central Texas, with great success. They can provide water clarity, quality improvements and also great cover for aquatic fowl and small mammals from predators.
Anyone else have any success with these, and suggestions on other applications?
WE actually engineered a 12' X 16' platform, as the largest one so far. Anchored to a 800 lb rock by chain, fastened at a single central point. Some designs have 2 and three anchor points.
