Good luck on the build. Very exciting I'm sure. I would suggest getting in touch with the Texas Forestry, have then check out your property, and see what they suggest about the remaining pines. They appear way too overcrowded. Maybe TX has a program similar to the GA Forestry where they will reimburse the land owner for part of the expense of thinning.
Hey guys, All of my property is thick like that. It is wild growth. I did not plant those pines.I really don't plan to cut them. This property was clearcut about 10 years ago. I just like the privacy. My property goes about 1/2 mile down the hiway with no neighbors surrounded by a creek and timber company property. All this and only 1 and 1/2 miles out of town. I will send more photos soon. I am spending today putting my tire structures in the pond.
