Last year american lotus was taking over a large part of my pond but this year they have almost vanished. It didn't happen all at once but each month there has been less and less and now almost none? However other pond plants are thriving and growing where the lotus had been. Lotus has been replaced with american pond weed and cattails. you can still see a few lotus but not many.
