Theo, great collage work, not to mention the excellent penmanship!!!!

Did Spawn of Gallus help with that, or are you honing your skills?

Sunil, the basic concepts are largely the result of very enjoyable pan-Gallus activity. The GSR and the "Loudmouth Bass" (found out it had been done elsewhere, hence not used) are Spoonerisms from my kids. After I had finished the early work on GSR, CMB (replacing the Loudmouth), and the FAM, I asked the family to help come up with a 4th species. My wife and daughter simultaneously cried "Whitetrash Bass" and "Redneck Sunfish" (which were combined into the RNS), then my wife proceeded to detail RNS spawning behavior. As usual, my son did most of the visuals based on concepts from myself and my daughter.

I believe I will try to make "Oddball Fish Species" a long-term family game like "Tom Swift Book Titles" (my son holds the all-time lead in that one with "Tom Swift and the Atomic Colostomy Bag").

Theo,
In a recent thread, Meadowlark pointed out your exemplary thespian skills to me. This, no doubt, spills over to your poetic side. Now, to find out it runs throughout your entire immediate family can only be rivaled by the combined talents of the Von Trapp family. What a joyous holiday coincidence this is, indeed! Pray tell, can we expect video performances of "My Favorite Things" or "Do-Re-Mi" by the noted Von-Gallus family? Personally, I await your mesmerizing rendition of "Climb Ev'ry damsite". \:D

Ahh, respect for the classics - Rogers & Hammerstein, Gilbert & Sullivan, Ludwig & Lowe. ;\) If my 14 year old wasn't busy wasting his time going to school, I would have him working full time on a Flash Animation video titled "Mr. T Sings West Side Story." \:D As it is, this project is in the planning/writing stage.

Theo,

Due to your impressive skills shown above in reference to the identification of unknown species I beg of you to assist me. Santa came early this morning (Ryan will be at his dad's this weekend \:\( ), and much to my surprise he had left Ryan a mounted fish of unknown origin. This mount is approx. 5-6 inches in length and quite frankly has me perplexed.

Any info you could share would be much appreciated! Could it possibly be the highly elusive X-Ray fish?

Deb:

I can tell from the see-through skin that your mystery fish is of the deep sea variety (no light = no need to waste effort on pigmentation). I surmise that it is the "King" of deep water, proper name Aqua-regis ryanella. \:\)

On elephants. :p

Trebuchets, polled herefords, large bluegills, knowledge of Tom Swift books, (hopefully the original, Appleton series), biting wit......

Does Theo offer a mentorship program?

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.
