Has anyone ever encountered this? Is there a way to fix it without draining the lake below the leak? The lake is mature with HUGE catfish, bass and a nice population of bluegill. I am very concerned if we have to drain the lake we will kill a very well established fish population. Thank you in advance!
The only way that I can come up with at this time is to build a temporary coffer dam in the shape of a "U" around the box, leaving enough room to get around it to work. Do the repairs and remove the temp coffer dam.
You ever see those interlocking steel pieces that they drive into the ground as a temp retaining wall? Those things are what I had in mind.
