2.5 acre 28ft deep. halfway full now so no rush. Someone told me a 2 foot culvert would do the trick with class A rock on the back for erosion control. Any input greatly appreciated. Do I need a face wall on the pipe or just the pipe itself?

Will the pipe be the primary or emergency spillway? How big is your watershed?

Pipe will be the primary as it is shaping up now. However my watershed is quite enormous from 3 steep hills but not sure how to measure.

Check into anti-seep collar.. acme planimeter can help you find the acres shedding into your pond.. I'd get it figured out asap (like before you build the pond lol)..
I believe in catch and release. I catch then release to the grease.. BG. CSBG. LMB. HSB. RES.
