As I have stated in recent posts I am growing bass in a RAS. I was planning to keep them for three years before selling. But I have been approached about selling a few two year olds. So my question to the experts is what would be a fare price to ask for pellet trained LMB in the14-16" range. They are all in the 140% range on weight.

If I were looking to buy from you, I'd see what is available on the market. It would appear that past 12", they get harder to source, but they're running $12 and up. Take a look at Overton's price list, they sell 1-2lb LMB and at that point, they switch to $/lb instead of $/inch.

Very hard to source. $10-$12/lb seems like the going rate. All about supply and demand.

Check out Carolina Hatchery, they sell twelve inch and above for 7-8 bucks a pound. Fish in the eastern states appear to be cheaper then the central states. Good luck.

Price goes up once the larger they get. I've heard of 5#+ fish going for $25/lb. Remember, larger fish are "set in their ways" of feeding, and used to the environment they have lived in. They may not do very well in another environment. I believe Bob Lusk stocked advanced sized LMB in a BOW and they lost weight.
