Hello, I'm new to this forum, but not a new pond keeper. However, the more I can learn, the better my pond will be. I am an IT person for a very large financial firm, owner of three cats (forced into that by my wife), we have two 125 gallon fish tanks in the basement, and a pond of about 800 gallons in the yard. (Which I really want to move). I am the leader of a Paintball Team called "The Gaggle Of Noobs", ( www.GaggleEmpire.com) which should tell you how serious we take ourselves and a few of us are into the fish hobby and spend a lot of time talking about that when we should be in the woods slinging paint. I have also traveled the world for the US Government (none military) and I truly just enjoy being home messing around with my fish stuff. I'm a real DIYer and I think this fish keeping hobby is almost about that more than it is watching the fish and relaxing around the pond. I look forward to visiting this forum often and learning from all the old-pros that are pond keepers. Serrecko aka Mike

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Hey, welcome!
I live down the road from Crossman's so I get to play with some cool splatball guns during their open houses. I have a cheap refurb that has served fairly well.
Big sport out here, but after getting a few too many welts one day I gave up playing with my friends who were NOT newbs like I am. Too big of a target, and I made the mistake of wearing jeans that day. Ow.

Welcome neighbor. I'm about 17 miles west of Winchester, just off US-50, at the state line. I'm in WV. The farm adjacent to ours is in VA.
