I have a one acre pond, built new 7 years ago. stocked with LM bass, blue gills, channel cats. Fish are fed twice daily with auto fish feeder. Channel cats are now 8--10lbs. are they too big for the pond. I don't have any fry bass or bluegills anymore. just large bass and blue gills. I suspect the large cats are eating all eggs and fry fish.
In years past, I always saw large numbers of fry fish in the spring. no more.

An 8lb CC isn't going to waste its time on fry. I would say your lack of fry is more likely from your bass. Having big catfish and bass doesn't sound like much of a problem though. I would say fish out the cats and eat them. 8-10lb cats would take up quite a bit of the biomass of the BOW. It sure would be fun fixing that problem!

How big are the LMB? Your pond could also be bass-heavy by now. Catch 10 LMB and measure weights and lengths so we can determine the health of the population.
