"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.

This song has always been a favorite of mine. I was introduced to it, like I'm sure many were, by the Darling family (including bluegrass legends The Dillards) off of the old Andy Griffith TV Show. The NGDB do it up right, with a fourth verse I am not familiar with. This tune just speaks to me this morning.

Well said tony.

There are way too many by Waylan and Willie, Johnny Cash, The Statler Brothers, The Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin -- just to name a few. And what can compare to the Beatles and Elvis hits?

What about Charlie on the MTA by the Kingston Trio? Did he ever return? His fate is still unlearned.

Or, for those of us who got drafted in the 60s - Alice's Restaurant.

I had seen the hillbilly thunderstruck before, good music, lacking in vocals.

I prefer this version-

A great version of "Stairway".

Amazing to watch the 3 living members of Led Zeppelin in some weird way "watch themselves" and obviously become emotional about what they created so long ago. (Yes that is Robert Plant with a tear in his eye at the 4:34 mark) What I would have given to be in that room and experience these few minutes of love and appreciation for one of the greatest rock and roll songs ever written.

After 13 years Phil Collins says "enough with retirement"!

So many great songs!
Can't wait for a Dallas date.

Rush is an all time favorite. Can't remember how many tapes wore out, but tossing a keg on the back of my snowmobile and heading out to the middle of nowhere was always a fun time. Drove my 72 Cuda way out back one winter into a field by a creek for a party. I had the keg on my sled, but the Kazoo claws on the track had a different idea. Got it home, tossed the keg in the Cuda, and hit the snow.

Yeah, at least 10+ people helped me push it up hill thru the snow while in gear, and I just jumped in and never looked back getting out of there.

What FUN Times!!!

I'm w/JKB. Anything Rush is amazing. Their last album Clockwork Angels was stellar!!! Heckuva concert too. While I'm lovin Canada, gotta include Triumph and April Wine.

Best album ever--Meat Loaf Bat out of Hell. II and III pretty darn good too.

Gotta give it up to Illinois' big 3--Styx, REO, and Cheap Trick. RIP Gary Richrath.

Kudos to Kansas.

Best "new" band for me--Winery Dogs

What amazes me is how well the old acts still perform. For instance, we saw Bob Seger awhile back, and he put on an incredible 3 hour show.

Agreed I saw the Stones, ZZ Top, Motley Crue/Alice Cooper in the last few months and they were all outstanding.

The Stones really caught me by surprise. I was expecting a less than stellar show because of their advancing ages. Boy was I surprised! They had the entire Dallas Cowboys Stadium on their feet.

Have not been to a concert in a long time. Not that many venues up here and I will not drive to Detroit! That place sucks!!!

I use to watch a lot of youtube concerts with my cell as a hot spot to my laptop. The service is more than fast enough to provide a good experience.

One day I stopped at the shop (rarely went there in the past) and boss was reviewing the AT&T bill and said I sucked out +29GB of air time on the 30GB limit before extra charges are added. Wondered why, and I just said those training videos can get intense wink

My folks, my brother and his family and myself went to visit our aunt and cousins in Evergreen, CO.

With their deck overlooking Mt. Evans, blessed with beautiful sunny days, and sunsets over the mountains, the mood was just right for entertaining the fam and getting in some quality time with my talented brother!

Gittin' our jam on with some Neil Young, CSN, Simon and Garfunkel, everything else we could think of, and of course some blues cool

Unfortunately, moments like this are few and far between, but cherished every time we get the chance.

Awesome family man! Enjoy those moments. Took my niece singing karoke (Sp?) in Thailand. She made me get up on the stage with her. She is still talking about it! Cherish those moments!

Speaking of Neil Young...

this old video shows how true talent can survive & thrive all alone...
the simplicity of just him and his guitar.
