17 years ago my 5 1/2 acre pond area was just part of a plowed corn field. Now it is better then vacations on the Florida coasts or sailing the Gulf in Texas. I planted food trees for squirrels and birds and let wild foods like black berries, raspberries and mulberries grow on their own. The results have been amazing. I read books at the pond but with the busy activity it's hard to concentrating on reading. I recommend this for retirement.
