I think all the Aquamax is made in Richmond IN. We should have a contact information for Purina for when we have questions about the fish food.

The bags are stamped in black ink by the tape you open it with. Not on the tape itself but on the bag by the tape.My 600 is marked 5D06 APR03141 0305 the AQ500 is marked similar except the date(I think) says APR02143. I think this is the date stamp Bill but it could be something else. I tried to get a picture but it's pretty overcast here today and the black ink doesn't show up on the blue bag. I'll get a picture later when I get to the farm and post it.

Cisco, is it under the tape so it's visible once the tape is removed (to open the bag)?

If anybody is going by Culver, Indiana try giving Bar MM Feed a call. They usually stock 500 and 600. 574-842-3374 Connie or her mom usually answers the phone.

Cisco - How tall are the letters? The numbers you are seeing are dates of manufacture. I have another new unopened bag of AM600. I will look again and closely.

Cisco, I looked at the bag in the sun, and I found the date code. It's partially worn off on my bag, and you are right, they ARE hard to see. I don't know if they'll show up in a picture or not.

Date code is also on my bag black letters on dark blue plastic and almost all rubbed off my bag. Letters are about 3/8" tall.

My supplier has not been able to get me any 600 for 3 weeks now. Is something going on with production?

No issue getting it here a week and a half ago.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Went ahead and stocked up this time. Took forever that round for some reason. Now they are having problems getting 500 for another person. I'm paying $36.99 a 50 pound. Guess I can't complain much.

Sorry guys, I didn't see the quetions until now but I see they've been answered. My internet at the farm is slow at very best so I'm not on much on the weekends. Again, sorry I missed it!

I like the 600 better. I get 500 when they are out. I guess it depends on what your feeding. You can see what I'm feeding in my signature line.

AM600 for me as well and AM LMB for the LMB and HSB.

John, you ARE stocked up! Do you use a feeder or feeding by hand, and how often?

I Just picked up a bag of AM600 for $38.95 and I find prices vary at the different Co-op's

Yep I'm stocked up for awhile. I feed by hand every evening. The only reason I haven't switched to a feeder is I've noticed some nights they eat more than others. Sometimes won't feed at all. I feel I can better gauge the amount this way. Right now I still have them trout gorging on AM. Having a crawfish boil/ trout catching party on Earth Day next week. A few friends are coming up to help get those trout out. Running out of time. The pond is less than a hundred yards from house. Prob closer to 75. Can't wait.

My lovely wife picked up my order this evening, since their delivery hadn't arrived yet when I was there earlier in the day. (thanks babe!)

I was told to expect a $10 per bag price increase over last year when I ordered....

$38.50 per bag, including tax. (AQ500) Right on par with last year's prices.

I may ask my wife to pick up the feed from now on.

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.

Tony better not chance it and just have wife pick up the feed everytime. He is a busy man anyway.

I don't pay sales tax on mine. And when I asked why they say it doesn't apply. Any ideas?

Do you have a tax exempt number on file with your supplier, Cecil?

Usually by check. I thinking it's my state and something to do with agriculture.

In my state taxidermists don't charge sales tax unless they sell something retail. In many other states they do.
