Need Help,
I have a 1-acre pond, 2yrs old, with an approx. 3acre watershed. Grass is well established and had no problems last year with water clarity.
The only thing different is that I lowered the level 2ft. this spring to install a new overflow system. I now realize I lost my most fertile water. I cont. to fert. but can't clear it .
Looking for help and thoughts on using alum products.

Just wait it out.....if it was clear before it will clear again. Don't waste your money on alum, it will work, but why use it and risk a fish kill if you don't need to.

Describe the water clarity. What's the visibility? Fertilzer is used to creat an algae bloom which will decrease visibility not increase it. Stop fertilizing if visibility is between 12 & 18 inches. You're headed for a fish kill if vis. is below 12" & you're still fertilizing!
