My golfing buddies have been most everywhere golfing. From Myrtle beach, Miami, Orlando, and now back to Inverness. Of all the places we have done our golf trip Inverness is really the nicest most lay'd back we have ever had. Huge house and huge yard to stay at.
The last time we were down there we had a hard time finding places to eat at. We had to drive to Clearwater to find anything.
My question is is there anyone that could help out with some places to have a few beers at and some good chicken wing or ribs while were down there. We do have unlimited miles on the rental vans but would really like to take a cab so we all can drink.
This year we have 8 guys most of the time we have 12 and the largest group was 16 to Myrtle beach. This year to Inverness we will be staying with the VanderValk and coarse we can choose from are Lakeside, Citrus Springs, The Oaks at Citrus Springs, The Meadows at Citrus Springs, Juliette Falls, Skyview at Terra Vista ,Miona Lakes ,Silver Springs Shores, Ocala National. We can do El Diablo, World Woods for additional cost then our package of the 7 coarses we choose from the list.
Maybe anyone from Florida could direct me to some tourist info we could look up on the internet for Inverness. Local experience is always better.
My parents have a condo in Largo St. Pete Clearwater area. If that is anywhere near you let me know and I'll ask them for you.
Wow nice spot St. Pete's. My grandma had a place in Clearwater years ago.... wish I had have known when she wanted to sell I would have bought it up.
See the drive to Clearwater in the picture added? Its a bit of a drive for a nice dinner and a few drinks. Maybe some where in Floral city or Hernando?

Cheers Don.
Yes that looks like a bit of a drive.
My parents may put their condo up on the market this spring although it's not a must sell thing. Lots of Canadians in the complex but the average age is about 70.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
Cecil, they aren't considering living in Indiana year round are they?
Yes.
My dad loves it down there in the winter, my mom does not. She wants to be closer to her family too. Knowing my mom if they sell, sometime afterward she will say, "I wish we hadn't sold the condo." LOL
