I threw out a couple handfuls of AM600 and after about 10 minutes a few CC started to feed right along the shore. The LMB, YP and a few BG were feeding in deeper water. I'd say there were about 10 of the CC that were sucking pellets off of the surface, so I grabbed a rod that was spooled with 12# test, an Owner #4 circle hook and a Chubby Stubby. It took a while, and I had to drag it so the line was going over a leaf that was floating on the surface of the pond to act as a bobber. I had to have the pellet right at the surface, as that's where they were keyed to slurping down the pellets.
It took a while to get him/her in, and the rest of them disappeared for the night. That's the first CC that I've been able to catch out of the pond this year. It was stocked in Spring 2009 as a 9"-12" fish, as it's adipose fin was clipped off.

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1) And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1) Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT? PB answer: It depends.
Tonight capped off a tremendous week of after-dinner fishing for me. Over 150 fish caught, including these from tonight.
One of this year's stocker HBG....8", and 10.4 ozs. Wr of 155%!!
Took this girl also, just over one pound. She's got me somewhat confused., displays several RES markers, but looks like some BG may be in the mix also. Appears gravid, but may be an injury?

I know that I will get into trouble for posting these flies that it took all summer for me to tie, but these old eyes and bony fingers can’t tie for everyone like they did in the past… George
I tied these Mrs.G's $Gill pond Spinsters for a very special friend and mailed them to him. Within 30 minutes of receipt these photos were in my Inbox!

George, they look great! I still have one that you gave me at the 2008 PB Conf. Too pretty to use!!! It's in a little plastic box with an autographed card - sitting right here on my desk...
Randy, that was a lot of fun, wasn't it? I miss Theo - he began the naming contest and Eric won it hands down and really got me in trouble tyin' flies for all contestants!!
