I Have A Bunch Of These In One Of Or Ponds And It Looks Pretty Good. Should I Move To My New Pond?

That's what I thought it was. It doesn't appear to be very intrusive and extends down to different depths in our 5.5 acre pond that is relatively shallow and has several pockets of phragmites on it.
It looks like I could dig some out and do the container method (to prevent phragmites) next spring to get some vegetation started in my new pond.
Or can I just dig them out bare root like my pic above keeping them moist during travel and then transplant them?

It is one of my favorite pond plants... If you have no plants now, getting it established early before non desirable species could be great.

That's looks to be same stuff I brought up in spring and everybody said don't worry. Since that day it consisted of a 1' by 2 ' area. Now it is easily taking up 8' by 8' come fall. I'm going to do everything in my power to destroy it come spring. It's breaking up now taking root around whole pond. I'll update my tread on it in a couple hours. Not saying it or everybody's advice is wrong, but not working out in my pond setting. Keep an eye out for a ( what is this?) thread.

You can transplant them into containers now but try to get lots of tuber root growth so there is root storage products for initiating growth next spring. Plant first I containers to check for "piggy back" invasive unwanted plants.

I saw a small pond choked with that weed. I'd be cautious with a lot of pond plants

It's relatively easy to control, either by biological methods or by chemicals.
I agree with CJ. Get plants in there that are relatively easy to control before unwanted plants get a foothold.
