Wow! Nice!

Also the package is competitive with cable and satellite. Anybody else?

Can anybody say Hughes what? Yes, Cecil we got fiber optic not 6 months ago at the farm, and have been very pleased. We'll check out the TV options later this month, as they just added them, but the phone and internet service has been great and the price slightly cheaper.

Was very surprised that they ran 1,500' of fiber optic from the road to our house for free.

Cecil, who's the provider? You're closer to a "big" city than I am, and my options here are very limited.

Actually Scott my small town has it's own telephone company, server, etc. Ligonier, Indiana -- Ligtel.com

Service is outstanding and no one I can't understand on the line from India. LOL

Even got free caller I.D. with the package. Never had that before!

Caller ID is ancient. You were behind a bit.

Talk about being behind. I went from a flip phone Motorola Tundra to a Samsung S4. I'm lucky if I know how to answer a call!

I know what I'll be doing in all of my spare time in the next few weeks - learning how to use the darn thing!

Scott sounds like me a few years ago. Went from a $10 track phone I had used for 3 years to the newest iPhone. I was amazed at having internet everywhere.

You should see my old Motorola Nextel phone from back around 1998. You could put out somebody's windshield with that!

I may get an iPhone or at least an iPad. Reason being is Safari is much more stable overall when I enable full remote control of one of my systems. (only when I am there tho) Firefox use to work, IE is crap and always will be! Google Chrome works flawless from an XP Pro or 7 Pro PC, as well as my Sony Google TV.

Ran into a glitch on my Nexus 7 a couple weeks ago. Enabled full remote control on a robot weld cell. Everything was going well. Put the system in auto, nothing happened, hit the reset modes, nothing happened. A few moments later, the auto button on my N7 was pulsing to the beat of the turntable brake being released. OK, not good! Closed the browser, which drops out remote control and all was cool again. Tried an iPad with Safari and it worked great!

I know but never had it before. Had to always pay extra for it.

I remember the old caller ID gizmos that you set next to the phone. Gotta be close to 20 years ago.

Been pretty much a standard feature up here for quite some time.

Think of it this way, you saved a bunch of cash by not knowing who was calling you laugh

I joined the 20th century last Thursday with an Iphone. No, not the latest that came out Friday. Now I have to call Charter and find out what my internet pass word is. I also bought the case than can be run over by a truck since I just might wind up doing that. The cover is red so I can find it.

Dave, did you get the case with a 650,000 volt Taser built in?

I just saw it on the local news and went, WT?

Another company has a case with built in pepper spray.

I see a lot of self inflicted injuries here!

That stuff sounds scary and I would undoubtably have it in my jeans pocket when the taser got actuated. Right now I don't even know how to adjust the ringer volume. I just know how to make and receive calls.

I'm going to a buddy's place tonight that has the same phone as I do, for a crash course in operating it. No paper manual, everything is on-line now.

The wife and I bought Lifeproof cases for our Iphones. Waterproof, shockproof, dustproof, idiotproof.

You can do nearly anything with your phone once it's sealed in this case except talk on it. The echo is so bad, on both ends, that it's unusable. On mine that is...hers works ok.

I've had the phone back to the dealer, they say it's a case problem. I will say that Lifeforce has tried....they sent me two more cases at no charge. Same result.

80 bucks for a case I can't use. Although, I may put it back in its case for the trip to Bruce's dock. whistle

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.

If your looking for a case, consider the Otter Box Defender Series. http://www.otterbox.com/

I have them on my Motorola Atrix and Nexus 7. Pretty darn rugged. They have them for the iPad, so when I get one it'll get one too.

Unfortunately the Otterbox for the Samsung Galaxy S4 isn't waterproof. Lifeproof has one coming out next month that is waterproof to 6.6 meters. 2 styles. One that has a screen protector, one doesn't.

Otterbox owns Lifeproof. Kinda funny how they announced the acquisition of Lifeproof one day after Otterbox dismissed a patent infringement suit against them.

Make sure you close them up well before you decide to take a dip.
