Been lurking for a while now and thought Id ask this question(that has probably been answered more than a few times) I have a situation...Duckweed, Coontail, and Fil. Alge...my pond is about 4 acres and about 7 feet deep on average (24-28 acre/feet) anyone know of a good cotrol for these weeds that wont break the bank??? would love something that would last all season long...Im in Southern IL

Don't think you can get away without using Avast or Sonar. The duckweed will take about a quart per acre which will also take care of your coontail during the same application. As far as Algae goes you can use good old copper sulfate which can be mixed with water and sprayed or thrown on the mats. Good Luck
