I've posted before about how much I have to pay for AM600 in this area. I've call every store I could think of asking if they can get it, and only one responded yes. Their price...right at $50. Even then, it takes nearly two months for them to get it, because they hold their orders for so long.
Last week I looked on the Purina website again, and noting that they listed a local horse tack and feed dealer, I call them. They were a pleasure to work with, and will have two bags in next Thursday. Their price...$38.
While my CC seem to really like the Sportsmans Choice Trophy Fish Food from TSC, many of my BG/CNBG will suck a pellet in and spit it back out. They don't spit the AM600 back out! I think I will continue feeding the TSC feed in deeper water for the CC, and feed the AM600 in shallower water for the BG/CNBG.

That's a good price! Take a look on the back of the bag. If it's a blue and white plastic woven bag, there is a picture of Bob Lusk on the back holding a couple of Bluegills. Your CC might switch over to preferring the AM too.....
