My shortest outlet tube is 40' long which may help prevent leaks. Or it just may take longer for the water to traverse the distance.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Well I just met with the guy from the NRCS and what a great guy and what a tremendous amount of help. We are going to put in a siphon system with out a stand pipe. I will try to scan and post the drawing that he gave me. He is also going to be back Friday and look at all of my elevations with a gps system that they have and he is going to bring a biologist with him. What a God send this guy is.
Thanks for all of the help guys.

My ponds hold water like a bathtub (with the plug in place). I do not have enough info to recommend (or not) anti-seep collars. I just saw "experts" with contradictory recommendations, so i thought that I'd point that out. I only have one rep with each approach, and only in my soil.

Thanks for all of the help guys. It is fantastic to hear that. Many people do not realize the worth of the NRCS, the local natural resources people, and the university Extension Services -- all of whom usually work together very closely, but with completely different disciplines. Glad to hear you came up with a good solution. A siphon sounds very good for your situation.
