Any one have a link for finding a leak in a lined pond?? I have heard of useing dye but have not read an article about it in a few years and cant remember where it was.
I am having trouble with one, the guys that built the pond did it in haste and not a lot of care.
On the back side of the face "which is too steep anyways" there are water stains seeping though. I believe this means leak right?
I have them spray painted out for future use and we are letting the pond empty on its own hopeing it will stop close to the hole. The 2 inches of rain this weekend are not helping. This pond is roughly 40' by 140' lined with a flexible liner and covered with geo on the top 3-8 foot under the water line with 3" pvc filled with sand holding the geo down.
All help will be apprittiated.

I believe I would get their butts back to fix the problem. This stuff is usually seamed together after very carefully preparing the soil to keep the liner from getting punctured. Somebody blew it.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
